Please, call me Bee. A California native, I grew up hiking and camping with my scout troop (T26), sailing and fishing with my dad, learning how to cook and grill from my mom, and how to take instructions from my older sisters. I loved (and still do) escaping into the fantastical worlds of fiction and games, being filled with the joy of exploring someone else's creation and world.

Much later, after I took a leave-of-absence from my first year of college, I was diagnosed with ADHD. After much struggling, therapy, medication, meditation and love, I came to recognize the unique viewpoint that I possessed and could share. It also stoked a desire to de-stigmatize mental health and improve accessibility.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from St. Mary's College of California (Go Gaels!) in 2017, then finished my Master's program in Business Management from the same school in 2018 where I was given the Dean's Award for Academic Success in my cohort.
